Poozers Pass Halfway Point

This past Tuesday and Saturday, Rookie midterms were held @ New Oa.  The 20 question test was a combination of multiple choice, fill-in the blank and True/False.  Most all of the Rookies have sat for the exam though a few stragglers are still out there and should contact a Trainer and arrange for testing before they can continue classes.

May Concert Adds Retro Sound

The Lanterns for Life charity event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society has added more to the playbill.  In addition to a live performance by Cylindrian Rutabaga, a Beatles retrospective and tribute will also be presented.

Blarghest Bash at Bar

Friday night a call went out for all hands on deck and a semi-surprise party was held for Guardian Cathy Gray at the L4.  The impromptu planned party started in the park then quickly degenerated to Warriors.  25 Greenies including the guest of honor soon lagged out the region while ION Aree took incriminating photos. Friday nights may become a regular thing if enough Lanterns want it so.

Core Flickr Group Gets Going

In a related story, ION Aree has set up a group photostream for those GL's with Flickr accounts who wish to share their GL pics.  If you have a Flickr account and wish to post GL pics in the group click here to sign up.

Guardian Kallfu found a clip from a Television show that gives a Green Lantern mention.

Blackmail Pic of the Week:

Guardian Kallfu and Honor Guard Pierce were discovered dancing with a couple of blondes at a late night club in Second Life.  Core Newletter Fashion Editor could only describe Kallfu's outfit as "some sort of mafioso-pimp thing."
